Grilled Shish Kebab with Tahina El Rashidi El Mizan


  • 1 kilo meat, cubes
  • 1 onion finely minced
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • Salt, pepper, and grilling spices
  • Vinegar
  • Lemon juice
  • For the Tahina:
  • 1 cup Tahina El Rashidi El Mizan
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup vinegar
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Salt, pepper and cumin


Add together meat, minced onions, yogurt, salt, pepper, vinegar, lemon juice and grilling spices and mix well. Put in the fridge for 12 hours till completely seasoned. Then put the meat cubes in stews and grill till cooked. Sprinkle Tahina El Rashidi El Mizan over meat cubes.

For the Tahina:
In a bowl add Tahina El Rashidi El Mizan, water, vinegar, salt, pepper and cumin then mix well till combined. Add to the Shish Kebab.
